Blessed Imbolic

   Today we start the 1st  of our 3 day    cycle of the Full Moon which takes us into   the cycle of the Quickening Moon. The moon will reaches it's fullest at 6:09pm on Tuesday night. 

Today's moon enters Leo at 12:41pm as well.   

Quickening Moon: 

    The Quickening moon is one of anticipation. So named for the feeling of unexpressed energy in earth and animals. Pregnant animals, due in the spring, begin to feel the quickening of their unborn young. The earth itself is quickening, as seeds and bulbs far beneath the soil begin their journey towards the light. We know these things are coming -- this is also a  good month  for us to make plans for the future. It is a time to dream and hope... and a time to set goals for ourselves.  It is also a time to accept responsibility for our mistakes and move on.

    The Full Moon is the symbol of abundance and fulfillment,it is    a great time for  manifesting desires or dreams.

   Leo urges us to focus on the self. It will ask us  to draw back from our personal connections with others and their emotional needs and to reflect on our fundamental ideals.
