January 23rd, 2015 01/23/2015 0 Comments The January moon is the time of the " Cold Moon". It is a time to develop the  inner self, and advance spiritually. It may also be a time for magic pertaining to spiritual or physical protection. This may have developed from the lore of Native Americans, who considered the January moon the" Wolves Moon". It. was a time to be conscious of the " wolves howling at the door" as they grew hungry and aggressive in relation to the hardships of winter When the moon is void of control lunar energy is suspended. For many individuals, this lack energy will mark a time of numbed feelings and poor judgement. It can also lead to a lack of intuition. In general, it is not a good time for anything which requires clear thinking and personal power. The moon being void of control need not be viewed as a time of ill-will, though. Instead as we become more in tune with the energies of moon and earth we may view  a moon void of control is a great time to simply relax and prepare. As we strive to become conscious of and lead by the magic of the moon, we find that incorporating the moon and its influence on our personal path will naturally teach us balance.
